CCF/Taiwan's foster care services have helped settle approximately 853 children, accounting for 80% of such cases across Taiwan, who have suffered from mistreatment and couldn't receive adequate care in their biological families. These children are provided with a stable, nurturing family environment, serving as a temporary sanctuary. Due to various external factors, these children have lacked Social Emotional Learning (SEL) during their developmental stages.
This year, MDS collaborated with CCF and MEandMine. MDS and our employees collectively donated NT$592,835 to purchase SEL teaching materials and exploration kits. These materials are being introduced to 853 children in foster homes in rural areas, allowing the professional resources, guided by foster parents, to assist children in recognizing their self-worth, developing emotional resilience, and fostering positive thinking to build their future happiness."
