The total length of the Taiwan Railway is about 1,100 kilometers, including the main line, branch line, harbor line and the tunnel area of about 160 kilometers. The project plan to update both station radio system and Taipei underground section TMS radio-telephone system to train dispatching radio system, and integrate the existing Taipei, Changhua, Kaohsiung and Hualien dispatching centres in the Taipei Integrated Dispatching Centre. A total of 128 sets of base stations and optical cables were installed along the wayside. Also, we are responsible for the integration of Taiwan Railway Around-the-island Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and the automatic telephone. The project includes interface between the locomotive radio controller and the train protection radio system. Meanwhile, the train management system, passenger information system and data transmission interface are reserved. The system equipment includes radio equipment, central dispatching system, recording equipment, transmission equipment, outdoor cabinet, conduct and cable, power system and steel tower, etc.
